Here's an article that was put out back in September that warns about the dangers of expired tires, of all things. The laws in the US are not stringent when it comes to regulating the sales of old tires, and this can be extremely dangerous if the tires' rubber is old. The article urges you to check the date, which you can find on the inner wall of the tire. More over at The Consumerist.
Oh, wonderful. I wonder how many truck tires are retreads? I hear the administration is trying to push back regulations regarding the number of hours truckers can go without rest. Anything for a buck, I guess.
