What a Week

Last Sunday night, I went out to dinner & ordered seared tuna. It was supposed to be sushi grade. About 20 to 30 minutes after I ate it, I got pretty sick. By the next morning, I felt a little better --not great, though-- and thought I was over it. Monday evening, I went out & got a greasy burger. I'm not sure what possessed me, because I hardly ever eat nasty fast food, unless it's a downright emergency. Anyhow, I think it put me over the top, because by Tuesday I was extremely ill. It was so bad that I tried to just sleep as much as I could, nonstop. When I went to the doctor, she gave me some meds for nausea that ended up completely knocking me out. She said I had food poisoning. It all just sucked. I couldn't go to work; I didn't even feel like watching television. It wasn't until Saturday that I was up walking around again. Now it's Sunday night, and I feel tons better. In fact, I feel great! I haven't been that sick in a really long time, and I'm glad to be over it for the most part.

Before all that, I spent the weekend moving. I had a great group of friends that came together to help me move. I really appreciated all their help. Now I've got to work on getting everything where it needs to be. At the moment, stuff is strewn everywhere. I took some pictures that I'll upload later.

  2. Eeewww. That song is running in my head..."Attack of the kill-er toe-MAY-toe, Attack of the kill-er TOE-MAY-toe..." and then that gnawing yown, yown, yown, yown in the background.
