I'd like to go here someday. I think there's something to be said for swimming right at the edge of the falls.

I coulda swore I did a post once on Dan Osman, but I reckon not. So I want to include a video of him here, too. He was a phenom back in the day, regularly climbing 5.12 +. He was notable for free climbing, and then, as if to had even more danger, he started speed climbing with no ropes. As he kept progressing, it was as if he just couldn't get enough. So he devised his own system of ropes for jumping from cliffs. Unfortunately, this cliff jumping is ultimately what killed him. I got a little fascinated with the subject a while back, and read quite a few posts & articles on the rope failure. It is generally believed that a last-minute unexpected change in positioning, coupled with the ropes being wet from an earlier rain caused the failure of the rope at a juncture. His achievements were spectacular.
